  6. This program is a port of xflick (an X11 base .FLI player) to
  7. the Enhanced Graphics System, EGS. It requires a graphic board
  8. that is capable of producing an 8 bit, CLUT-based chunky pixel
  9. display. This is the case for e.g. the Rainbow III, the Piccolo
  10. and the Spectrum. Might work on other boards, but I have not tested
  11. that. Source is included !

  15. The first release did not run on Spectrum boards, due to a different
  16. bitmap type of the default screen at 8 bits. This version should be
  17. ok for you Spectrum users, too..I hope. Sorry for the inconvenience.
